Flametect C-WD+ is a clear, water-based fire retardant spray for exterior and interior timber. It is used to reduce fire spread risk on fencing, cladding, decking and boardwalks, and is suited to large-scale applications including estate perimeters, holiday parks, campsites and commercial timber structures. UK manufactured and independently tested to BS 476 and EN 13501-1.
Suitable Applications
- Fencing and boundary timber (estates, rural land, commercial sites)
- Decking and boardwalks
- Cladding and exterior timber buildings
- Sheds, log cabins and outbuildings
- Campsites and holiday parks
- Estate and land management timber structures
Why Treat Outdoor Timber
Dry timber fencing and cladding can accelerate fire spread across a property, particularly during periods of high wildfire risk. Treating exterior timber with a fire retardant slows flame spread and reduces the rate at which fire travels along a structure, giving more time for detection and response. This makes it a practical preventative measure for large boundary runs, holiday parks, and sites managing wildfire risk across open land.
