HENSOTOP WB Green is a single-component, water-based top coat for HENSOTHERM water-based fire protection coatings in indoor use. It adds colour and protects against moisture, and should be used where surfaces are exposed to cleaning and other environmental wear.

Technical data

  • Coverage: 185 g/m² (5.4 m²/kg), 145 µm wet, 60 µm dry per coat
  • Dust dry after approx. 45 minutes, dried through after approx. 24 hours (60 µm dry film, +20°C)
  • Apply only when the HENSOTHERM coating is fully dry: at the earliest after 24 hours and a positive fingernail test
  • Airless spray (nozzle 0.009 to 0.013 inch, 120 to 150 bar), short pile velour or mohair roller, or brush
  • Thin with 0 to 3% water
  • Material, substrate and ambient temperature above +10°C (recommended +20°C), relative humidity below 80%
  • When using different batches of the same colour, mix them together before use

How to Apply

Simple application with standard tools — no specialist equipment required.

    Check the base coat before HENSOTOP WB Green
    The HENSOTHERM coating must be fully dry: at the earliest after 24 hours and after a positive fingernail test.

    Check conditions for HENSOTOP WB Green
    Material, substrate and ambient temperature above +10°C (recommended +20°C), surface at least 5°C above dew point, relative humidity below 80%.

    Mix batches of HENSOTOP WB Green
    If using different batches of the same colour, mix them together before use.

    Apply HENSOTOP WB Green
    Apply 185 g/m² (145 µm wet, 60 µm dry) by airless spray (nozzle 0.009 to 0.013 inch, 120 to 150 bar), short pile velour or mohair roller, or brush. Thin with 0 to 3% water.
