HENSOTOP WB (5kg)
Decorative, single-pack top coat for interior HENSOTHERM® fire protection coatings, including HENSOTHERM® 2 KS INNEN White or Grey.
HENSOTOP WB is a water-based, halogen-free, fast-drying top coat designed for indoor steel and timber fire protection systems. It provides a clean, decorative aesthetic while sealing the intumescent base against ambient moisture and indoor environmental influences.

Application Guidelines
- Timing: Apply only after the intumescent base coat has thoroughly dried—at the earliest after 24 hours and a positive fingernail test.
- Batch Mixing: If working across different manufacturing batches of the same colour, mix both containers together thoroughly before application to ensure uniform colour.
- Metallic Pigments: Note that thinning with water or applying with a brush/roller may alter the shade of colour formulations containing metallic pigments.
Drying Times
At approximately +20 °C and 65% relative humidity:
- Dust dry: approx. 45 minutes
- Dried through: approx. 24 hours
Packaging & Storage
- Packaging: 5 kg plastic pail (also supplied in 10 kg pails)
- Shelf Life: 6 months in original, unopened containers
- Storage Conditions: Store protected from frost at ambient room temperatures
