Flametect CWD+ is a premium, clear flame-retardant treatment for interior and exterior wood surfaces, from cladding and decking to log cabins, sheds, and partitions. Formulated for long-term fire protection without compromising the natural look and feel of the wood, this advanced, water-based and VOC-free solution delivers professional-grade safety with ease of application.

Limitations
Flametect CWD+ is not suitable for:
- Previously painted or varnished surfaces
- Plywood, cork, or laminated boards
- Upgrading standard doors to certified fire doors
- Achieving BS 476 Part 21 or 22 (30/60 minute fire resistance)
Application Guidance
- Apply 250ml per m² to achieve full fire-protection rating.
- Ensure wood is dry (below 20% moisture content) before use.
- Typical absorption for wood & MDF: 4 m² per litre.
- Allow 1 hour between coats where multiple applications are required.
- For exterior applications: protect from the elements and allow to dry for 24–48 hours.
- Do not store below 10°C.
- Shelf life: use within 90 days of purchase.
